However, it is important to know where paraffin wax comes from. Paraffin wax (or petroleum wax) is a soft, colorless solid obtained from petroleum or coal. This is enough reason for us to look for an alternative that is made from renewable resources and more environmentally friendly. Sustainable<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soy wax is probably the most common type of wax chosen by environmentally friendly sellers. However, unfortunately, the soy industry often uses pesticides and fertilizers to meet the increasing demand for soy products, as well as deforestation to create more soy fields. Soy can certainly be grown in a sustainable way, but in practice, this is not always the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coconut wax<\/strong> is produced by pressing oil from coconut meat and undergoing a hydrogenation process. Filtered and purified, it gives us a 100% natural and completely biodegradable wax. It is a renewable crop with a high yield, which means that a considerable amount of product can be obtained from fewer coconut nuts, making it one of the most environmentally friendly waxes on the market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Slow and even burning<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coconut wax burns slower than any other wax on the market, meaning that you can enjoy your favorite candle for a longer period of time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Clean burning<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coconut candles are non-toxic, burn cleaner than any other candles and do not release any soot particles, so we don't have to worry about potentially carcinogenic substances being released into our home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Beautiful scent<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fragrances blend seamlessly with coconut wax, which means they beautifully release their scent.
